AY,RMD salute 2face over #IstandwithNG

Legendary actor , Richard Mofe Damejo and a Commedian Ayo Makun aka AY have expressed love and support for Innocent Idibia , popularly called 2 Baba, over the recently concluded nationwide protest tagged # IStandWithNigeria .
It is no more news that Nigerians have criticized 2 Face for backing out of the # IStandWithNigeria protest that took place yesterday .
RMD writes @ official 2 baba Thank you for being not just a talented artist but more importantly a humble and fine gentleman and let me dare say that @ IStandWithNigeria and # IStandWithTubaba because you do not need a celebrity to give you voice or make you take a sta nd against issues that directly affect you . I ’ m not in Nigeria and if I were I probably would have been a part of the protest , not as a celebrity but as a Nigerian who is experiencing the same issues as every other Nigerian but hey , thankfully, I don ’ t need to be in the streets to register my protest , so again , MY NAME IS RICHARD MOFE - DAMIJO AND I STAND WITH NIGERIA .
Ayo Makun also said , “ I have spent all day reading over 7 , 000 comments concerning the mixed feelings of Nigerians on the cancellation of the February 6 protest against the Federal Government by Innocent Idibia . As a friend , let me feed Nigerians with a simple fact that @ official 2 baba was never afraid to raise his voice for honesty , truth and compassion for the common man in the phase of the present economic situation in Nigeria .
“ You all can say whatever you want to say about him , but you must note that it is impossible for him alone to change things by fighting an existing reality that did not start from the present government . For Change to occur , we must collectively come up with a strategy that will make any existing model that is not working obsolete .
“ What most of you do not know or understand is that disobedience to the rule of law has its own implication , even when you believe in your ‘ freedom of speech or action ’ . ”
He the concluded that Nigerians should join him in celebrating a man who has always been an advocate of peaceful governance , a man who was never consumed by the sin of silence and become a coward , a patriot who was bold enough to ask for the change we were promised , whether you like it or not
